| Anti*Hereo is a power trio from the remnants of success and hope that was once New Castle, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1996, they have continued to grow into a free-thinking monster in the local scene. Chris Petrus - guitar/vocals Cory Krueger - bass/backup vocals Robert Flamino - percussion Brian Petrus-percussion Anti*Hereo has been playing live for many years between the cities of Youngstown and Pittsburgh and their surrounding areas in all types of venues and with endless other acts. While maintaining a loyal fan base from their steady outings they have also created five studio albums, the most recent being 2009's Tainted Harvest. We are heavily influenced by: Depravity, Nirvana, Coney Island MP, System of a Down, Dirt, Scandal, Betrayal, Rush, Chemistry Sets, Dry Kill Logic, Black Flag, Revolution, Snot, Marilyn Manson, The Melvins, etc. Collectively, it all coagulates into an indescribable blend of heavy punk and dirty rock sludge. Beginning in 2006, Chris' younger brother Brian "Fakey" Petrus has been assuming many of the percussion responsibilities while Robert attends classes at YSU.
